I often hear parents complaining that they can never find great fashionable items for boys. It seems that every where you go there are a multitude of designer fashions, toys and collectibles for girls, but hardly anything really fancy or especially nice for boys. Personally, I do not believe this is true, I think there are a lot of nice items for boys, you just have to know what and where to look for them. When I am looking for some truly unique items, I often browse Kids Product Directory because it has the most unique kids items.
I recently went shopping for my nephew and I found this shirt that said, “I am a lady’s man, just like my Dad,” I simply had to get it. Why? It was truly unique, the shirt was hot pink. This is not the usual choice of colours for young boys, wouldn’t you say? I absolutely loved the phrase and the colour, so I bought the shirt. His parents thought it was the coolest thing ever and he looked absolutely fabulous in it. Why can’t little boys wear pinks, yellows and oranges?
If you restrict yourself to following what everyone else says about boys fashion and design and always stick to following the norm, you will never find truly unique items for boys. The same thing can be said about decorating for a boys birthday party. If you do not try different designs and colours, how will you ever know what works and what does not work? Explore different possibilities and add non traditional colours, shapes and ideas.
Boutique Printable designs has a multitude of kids birthday party designs made just for boys to help get your creative ideas following. Start with a theme or specific design choice and build the decorations around it. Make sure that everything in the design matches; including balloons and streamers. Here are some of our design favourites:
Green and yellow, nuts and bolts is a great design for boys, I especially love the Hammer Burger reference, too cute!
Red, White and Blue Sailors is a great way to keep a bit of tradition while still adding a new colour: red.
This construction design says I am a big boy but I am still fashionable in my yellow, grey and orange cross patterns.
